In addition to the 5 miles of Payette River frontage homeowners at Blackhawk on the River can enjoy, we also have two freshwater lakes set right in the center of the community. Blackmare and Rock Lake were created in natural drainage areas and are now deep, oxygen-fed lakes stocked with prize rainbow trout…some up to 16 inches long. These non-motorized lakes are perfect for canoeing and fly-fishing, but remember, these are catch-and-release only areas!
